Mr. TRA BI is an expert in Insurance, Actuarial and Risk Management. He has more than 20 years of professional experience in banking, insurance and social security institutions in Africa, Europe and the United States. He was the Technical Director of Atlantique Assurance Vie (formerly Stamvie), after having been the Head of the Actuarial Department. He was Assistant Director at the pension fund Caisse G\u00e9n\u00e9rale de Retraite des Agents de l’Etat (CGRAE) in C\u00f4te d’Ivoire. He also worked as an actuary for the SUNU Group in several West African countries. In the USA, he has worked for ING-US Financial Services, PRUDENTIAL FINANCIAL, SUNTRUST BANK and others. In his different functions, he has carried out actuarial evaluations, statistical and financial studies, participated in the implementation of the computerized management system of the CGRAE, and financial risk management.\u00a0<\/p>

In 2020, he was responsible for developing the procedures manual and determining the organization of the actuarial, administrative, accounting and financial management functions as part of the feasibility study for the introduction of a supplementary retirement fund at the National Social Security Fund (CNSS) of Burkina Faso. In 2013, he was the lead actuary for the actuarial valuation of the pension fund Caisse Autonome de Retraite des Fonctionnaires (CARFO) of Burkina Faso, and in 2014 for the actuarial study of the Compulsory Health Insurance scheme of Mali (CANAM). In 2017 and 2018, he was the actuary for the Study on the overall cost of care for populations under the Universal Health Coverage (CMU) of Ivory Coast and the Actuarial Study of the Social Security System of the CNSS of Burkina Faso. After several years of responsibility in private insurance companies in the CIMA zone, he is the manager of JT ENTERPRISES, where he advises on insurance and actuarial issues and conducts training in the same field.<\/p>

Mr. TRA BI holds a Master of Actuarial Science & Financial Risk Management from Georgia State University in the USA, a Diploma in Actuarial Science from the University of Louvain in Belgium and a Master of Mathematics from the Universit\u00e9 Felix Houphou\u00ebt Boigny in C\u00f4te d’Ivoire. He speaks and writes both French and English.<\/p>
