Prof. Issouf Soumaré, President of INSTITUTE SOUMARÉ OF FINANCE, was one of the organisers and presenters at the Workshop on “Field Experiments, Fintech, and Financial Inclusion” help at KIPPRA (Kenya Institute for Public Policy Research and Analysis) in Nairobi, Kenya on December 5-6, 2019. The event discusses the new developments regarding research on financial inclusion, including microfinance and financial technologies (Fintech). It sheds much light on how financial inclusion can induce sustainable growth in low-income and emerging economies, with explicit attention to African countries. Prof. Soumaré lectured on Risk Management and Quantitative Methods, with the objective to provide participants with better knowledge about the different methods and techniques to identify, evaluate, and manage risks. Special attention was given to the assessment of government and public institutions projects, as well as corporate risks.
