RATING ESG SOUMARÉ
Africa in general, and in particular the UEMOA region, is not on the margins of this development seen around the world. Indeed, at the African level, investors are increasingly in demand for socially responsible investments that respect ESG practices. Unfortunately, there are no structures dedicated to extra-financial ratings on the continent. However, in the area of extra-financial rating, although it is accepted that the dedicated agencies have certain common denominators, the fact remains that several aspects of the rating must take into account the local context.
The extra-financial rating “Rating ESG Soumaré” dedicated primarily to the regional financial market of the UEMOA region, incorporates ESG criteria into the valuation of an issue or company, beyond the traditional financial valuation criteria, using a rigorous and robust valuation methodology.
